Beer from Kulmbach - a pleasure experience
During your stay in the “secret capital of beer”, you can look forward to a wide variety of beers brewed here in the region according to a long tradition.
And since we are also located in the middle of the “Genussregion Oberfranken” (Upper Franconia gourmet region), there is no shortage of culinary delights.
Our ProBier package (3 days):
Day 1:
14:00 to 18:00: Arrival and check-in
from 19:00: Dinner at the hotel, 4-course menu “All about the Kulmbach bratwurst”.
Day 2:
After breakfast, set off on a guided tour of the picturesque old town of Kulmbach.
Then visit the German Tin Figure Museum at Plassenburg Castle in Kulmbach, a time-honored Hohenzollern residence.
In the afternoon, a guided tour of the Bavarian Brewery Museum in the Mönchshof awaits you.
Here you can find out everything you need to know about brewing beer from the time of the pharaohs to the present day.
The evening then begins at the “Hagleitner Wirt” with a hearty beer tasting. A cheerful get-together with original Franconian cuisine. The original Kulmbacher beer meat with Franconian dumplings is accompanied by 6 types of Kulmbacher beer.
Day 3:
- Departure after breakfast
- Check-out until 11:00 am
